Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies for metal parts in alignment with company goals for capacity, quality, competitiveness, and innovation.
- Manage a diverse supplier panel, ensuring portfolio security through diversification plans and supplier development.
- Enhance the supply chain in collaboration with supply chain teams, focusing on capacity building and industrial agility.
- Initiate continuous improvement processes with the quality team to optimize purchasing costs.
- Implement an RSE roadmap in line with group and brand commitments, focusing on responsible sourcing and circular creativity.
- Challenge partners on product and process innovations.
- Oversee relationships with internal interfaces and resolve supplier-related incidents.
- Ensure adherence to purchasing processes, including contractual agreements, RFQs, audits, and budget management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, business, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in purchasing.
