Louis Vuitton — Venice: Bill of Materials Specialist (Footwear). Manage PLM BOMs and footwear specification sheets; requires Excel proficiency and 3+ years' experience.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as key user for the One Manuf global harmonization project within the assigned area, supporting implementation and local adoption.
  • Create and maintain bill of materials (BOM) entries in the PLM system for raw materials, semi-finished components and finished footwear following style-office specifications.
  • Compile and enter footwear specification sheets (Di.Ba.) into the system, including component consumption, colorways and technical attributes.
  • Collaborate closely with Industrial Engineering, Purchasing and external manufacturers to define finished product specifications and all component details.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems to support lead-time reduction and migration to a common Core Model.

Qualifications

  • Diploma from a technical institute or a university degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years' proven experience in BOM management or product data within footwear or leather-goods manufacturing.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and demonstrated experience with PLM systems.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills; ability to work autonomously.
  • Effective communicator with proven ability to liaise with cross-functional internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Minimum 3 years in BOM/product data management in footwear, leather goods or related manufacturing environments.

Education

Technical institute diploma or university degree in a relevant field (e.g., footwear technology, industrial engineering, fashion/product technology).
