Join Loro Piana in Porto San Giorgio, Italy, as a Stitching Manager - Footwear. Lead a team in crafting luxury footwear, ensuring quality and innovation.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of 2 artisans.
  • Establish priorities and adhere to deadlines.
  • Manufacture uppers for prototypes, samples, and trial series.
  • Monitor and visit subcontractors to ensure quality standards.
  • Address technical requests from various stakeholders including artisans, subcontractors, and other departments.
  • Collaborate with internal production departments to resolve daily issues.
  • Oversee prototyping and industrialization phases, proposing solutions to encountered challenges.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a stitching department, with at least 3 years in a luxury company.
  • Experience in luxury and high-quality footwear production.
  • Excellent knowledge of stitching techniques.
  • Understanding of various footwear production stages.
  • Ability to make decisions and assume responsibilities.

Skills

Strong communication and people management skills. Organized and methodical approach. Proactive, takes initiative and seeks continuous improvement. Proficiency in computer tools (Excel, Outlook).

Experience

A minimum of 10 years in a stitching department, with at least 3 years in a luxury company.
