Loro Piana seeks a Shoes Raw Materials Industrialization Expert in Porto San Giorgio, Italy. Join a luxury fashion leader to innovate and industrialize leather goods materials.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate in the development of innovative ideas and trend proposals for suppliers.
  • Source and evaluate suppliers and manufacturers.
  • Participate in design briefs to provide suggestions and alternatives.
  • Assist in the quotation process for products created by designers.
  • Pursue innovative and creative proposals throughout the year.
  • Contribute to the research, selection, and industrialization of materials for leather goods, working closely with the product team.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards for leather goods, collaborating with the Raw Material Quality Control team.
  • Support the costing process for the Shoes category, utilizing company tools.
  • Collaborate with tanneries and external suppliers to optimize production phases and manage industrialization actions on raw materials.
  • Maintain communication with laboratories, purchasing, and industrialization offices, interfacing with quality technicians and raw material warehouses.
  • Work with the raw material purchasing office, quality control office, and product office.
  • Validate the Master of materials for production.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in similar roles.
  • Proficient knowledge of leather and exotic leather.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Proactive and responsible attitude.

Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Preferable proficiency in English. Willingness to travel frequently.

Experience

At least 10 years of experience in roles related to raw materials industrialization, particularly in the luxury fashion sector.
