Join Loro Piana in Porto Sant'Elpidio, Italy, as a Production Manager in the Stitching Department. Lead a dynamic team, ensuring quality and efficiency in luxury fashion production.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage teams comprising an initial total of 16 employees, including 15 new hires.
  • Enforce company rules regarding workplace safety and conduct.
  • Monitor performance indicators and implement improvement actions.
  • Collaborate with the scheduling team to define efficient production schedules that meet deadlines.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards and plans.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
  • Ensure regular maintenance of machinery to prevent production stoppages.
  • Develop tools to optimize department organization, utilizing methodologies such as Lean, Kanban, and Kaizen.
  • Enhance the versatility of operators.
  • Oversee the manufacturing of models during prototyping and industrialization phases to anticipate potential production issues.
  • Contribute to the growth of the internal stitching department by recruiting and training new operators.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role managing production departments

Experience

At least 3 years of experience in managing production departments.

Education

Master's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
