Role & Responsibilities

  • Optimize inventory flow and streamline operational processes while handling the accurate processing of shipments and transfers.
  • Oversee the movement of merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor and maintain appropriate inventory levels to align with sales potential.
  • Conduct cycle counts as per corporate calendar to verify product quantities and report discrepancies in a timely manner. Perform regular audits to verify product conditions.
  • Facilitate the implementation of security measures through inspections, audits, and preparing products for display.
  • Ensure ongoing inventory organization according to company procedures and establish an optimized warehouse layout for improved accessibility by the sales team.
  • Maintain clean, neat, and organized stock rooms with proper labeling to facilitate sales.
  • Maintain effective communication with the operations team and external couriers to ensure accurate shipping procedures and timely delivery.
  • Provide the sales team with detailed updates regarding inventory availability to support the sales process and enhance sales performance.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of operational and inventory experience, preferably in a luxury retail environment.

Skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP, and other digital tools. Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Strong knowledge of operations and inventory control. Ability to lift and move objects up to 40 pounds.

Experience

Minimum 3 years of operational and inventory experience, preferably in a luxury retail environment.

Compensation

Loro Piana offers a market-competitive pay range of $24 to $26 USD per hour, with flexibility to recognize and reward various levels of expertise, performance, and tenure.
