Join Loro Piana in Impruneta, Italy as a Metal Parts Industrialization Technician. Collaborate with design and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes for luxury metal parts.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with design teams to ensure new metal parts are designed for manufacturability and assembly.
  • Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for new metal parts, including machining, stamping, and casting.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, control plans, and procedures.
  • Conduct process capability studies and implement process improvements to ensure consistent quality and efficiency.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure they have the necessary capabilities and resources to meet production requirements.
  • Define the strategic supply plan for metal parts in collaboration with the purchasing team.
  • Resolve production problems and implement corrective actions.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of new technologies and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • Technical degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in the industrialization of metal parts.
  • Strong understanding of metal manufacturing processes in luxury brands or suppliers.

Skills

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with lean manufacturing principles. Proficiency in CAD.

Experience

Minimum of 5 years in metal parts industrialization.

Education

Technical degree in engineering or a related field.
