Role & Responsibilities

  • Prepare luxury handbags independently, utilizing high-quality leathers, including exotic skins.
  • Interpret and execute instructions from patterns accurately.
  • Perform splitting, skiving, and cutting tasks with precision.
  • Apply spray and latex gluing techniques.
  • Set up and maintain machinery used in handbag preparation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in luxury handbag preparation.
  • Expertise in working with exotic leathers, particularly crocodile, both with and without agate finish.
  • Strong understanding of leather goods materials, machinery, and products.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and share knowledge with trainees.
  • Demonstrated precision and responsibility in craftsmanship.

Skills

Advanced skills in interpreting and executing pattern instructions. Proficiency in leather splitting, skiving, and cutting techniques. Expertise in using gluing methods specific to luxury leather goods. Ability to set up and adjust machinery for optimal performance. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Experience

A minimum of 10 years of experience in preparing handbags, with a focus on luxury and exotic leathers.
