Kate Spade Temporary Associate in New York — temporary retail role focused on client service, sales and merchandising support.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional client service and drive sales through personalized recommendations and product knowledge.
  • Operate the point-of-sale system, process transactions, returns and exchanges with accuracy and discretion.
  • Support visual merchandising and maintain store presentation to brand standards, including window and floor displays.
  • Assist with inventory management: receive, tag and restock merchandise; participate in stock counts and loss-prevention procedures.
  • Support promotional events, trunk shows and clienteling activities as required by store leadership.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and uphold brand standards for guest experience at all times.

Qualifications

  • Legally authorized to work in the hiring country.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and peak retail periods.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and to lift and carry merchandise (typical retail weight requirements).
  • Punctual, reliable and able to follow operational procedures and loss-prevention guidelines.

Experience

Previous retail or customer-facing experience preferred; prior experience in luxury or fashion retail is advantageous but not mandatory for temporary assignments.
