Kate Spade seeks a Part-time Sales Associate in Tulare, CA to deliver styling-led client service and omnichannel sales.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and establish rapport; actively listen to determine needs and lifestyle preferences.
  • Provide personalised styling advice and create complete, on-brand looks that integrate handbags, accessories and apparel.
  • Drive sales through consultative conversations, product storytelling and suggestive selling (add-ons and cross-category recommendations).
  • Execute omnichannel servicing and virtual selling tactics to convert clients across in-store and digital touchpoints.
  • Maintain operational excellence: organise stockroom, manage inventory, perform POS transactions and ensure visual standards on the sales floor.
  • Support a seamless checkout and post‑purchase experience; encourage customer retention and repeat visits.
  • Perform physical tasks including regular lifting (at least 25 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs), bending, climbing and stock movement as needed.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable professional selling skills and exceptional interpersonal communication.
  • Prior retail experience, preferably in premium or lifestyle brands.
  • Comfort with omnichannel retail practices and willingness to adopt virtual selling techniques.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak retail periods and public holidays.
  • Capacity to perform routine physical duties associated with retail operations.

Experience

Previous experience in a retail environment is required; candidates should demonstrate professional selling capabilities and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales objectives in a client-facing role.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational retail, fashion or customer-service training preferred.

This position is based in Tulare, California, USA, within easy reach of Fresno.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
