Kate Spade New York seeks a Sales Associate in Sydney to deliver styling-led customer experiences and drive in-store sales.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests and establish rapport through confident, warm engagement and expert product knowledge.
  • Conduct consultative styling sessions to discover customers' personal tastes and assemble complete looks, suggesting complementary items and add-ons.
  • Demonstrate multiple ways to wear and use products to inspire repeat purchase and broaden customer preferences.
  • Drive sales by storytelling, converting connections into transactions and ensuring a seamless checkout experience.
  • Maintain store standards and operational excellence including accurate POS transactions, inventory handling and stockroom organisation.
  • Support team performance by giving and receiving constructive feedback and participating in floor merchandising and visual presentation.

Qualifications

  • Proven professional selling skills with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Prior retail or client-facing experience.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise and collaborate effectively within a store team.
  • Social media awareness and openness to learn omnichannel and virtual selling techniques.
  • Proficiency in English (or the local market language).
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, busy season peaks and public holidays.

Experience

Prior retail or client-facing experience is required; demonstrable track record in sales or styling within a fashion or lifestyle retail environment is preferred.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary study in fashion, retail or a related field is advantageous but not required.
