Kate Spade seeks a part‑time Sales Associate III in Honolulu, HI — provide styling-led service, drive sales, and support omnichannel retail.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver styling-led, consultative customer service: greet guests, assess needs through probing questions, and present curated looks across categories.
  • Drive sales through storytelling, suggest complementary items and close transactions while ensuring a seamless checkout experience.
  • Demonstrate deep product and brand knowledge to communicate features and styling versatility.
  • Support omnichannel selling and virtual appointments; encourage customers to engage with brand digital touchpoints.
  • Maintain operational excellence on the sales floor and in the stockroom, including POS transactions, inventory organization and merchandising standards.
  • Provide and receive constructive feedback to foster team performance and customer focus.

Qualifications

  • Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Prior experience in a retail environment; luxury or fashion retail experience preferred.
  • Social media awareness and willingness to learn omnichannel/virtual selling techniques.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Flexible availability including nights, weekends, peak retail seasons and public holidays.
  • Ability to lift regularly 25 lbs (up to 50 lbs occasionally), bend, climb and maneuver on the sales floor/stockroom.

Experience

Prior retail sales experience required; experience in luxury or fashion retail and demonstrable track record of client engagement preferred.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 24.25 per hour.
