Kate Spade New York seeks a part-time Sales Associate in Albertville, MN to deliver styling-led retail sales and exceptional client service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet and engage guests with warmth, demonstrating authoritative product knowledge and delivering personalised styling advice.
- Actively discover customer needs through attentive listening and thoughtful questioning, then curate complete looks and recommend complementary items.
- Drive sales results through storytelling, clienteling and conversion-focused retail interactions across the boutique and virtual channels.
- Execute omnichannel selling and support virtual appointments; ensure a seamless checkout experience via POS.
- Maintain operational excellence: organise the sales floor and stockroom, manage inventory flow, and perform POS transactions accurately.
- Support visual presentation by showcasing multiple ways to wear products and inspiring customers to explore new styles.
- Adhere to loss prevention, health & safety and accessibility requirements; lift and manoeuvre merchandise as needed (regularly up to 25 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs).
Qualifications
- Demonstrated professional selling skills with strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior retail experience, preferably in fashion, accessories or lifestyle boutiques.
- Comfortable with multitasking, prioritising workload and collaborating within a team environment.
- Familiarity with social media and a willingness to adopt omni/virtual selling techniques.
- Proficiency in English or the local market language; ability to communicate confidently with diverse clientele.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, high-traffic retail days and public holidays.

Experience
Previous experience in a retail sales environment is required; candidates should demonstrate a track record of engaging customers, achieving sales targets and applying styling techniques to drive transaction value.

The successful candidate will be located in Albertville, Minnesota, USA, with easy access to Minneapolis.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
