Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage the development and updating of collection tracking tools, printed boards, swatches, and racks.
  • Oversee the reception of printed samples during the sourcing of new bases and printing techniques.
  • Assist in the preparation and dispatch of print development files to suppliers.
  • Archive sourcing and unsuccessful developments by printers.
  • Archive printed fabrics at the end of the collection, updating the PAPF library.
  • Archive bases for printing and associated re-knitting tests for the Twillaine category.
  • Handle the destruction of unsuccessful developments.
  • Create, update, and scan printed material boards per collection as selections and validations occur.
  • Monitor the updating of printed boards before each work session.
  • Manage and update printed swatches on racks before each work session.
  • Update the base rack for printing by typology.
  • Assist in disseminating 'broad' color ranges to the design studio and printers.
  • Aid in the layout and dissemination of seasonal 'general' color ranges internally.
  • Monitor the reception of samples, tests, and yardages according to deadlines (meetings, model launches).
  • Edit material labels (via PLM Centric) for the dispatch of master collections internally.
  • Send daily notifications of receptions via email and Centric.
  • Manage and monitor the dyeing of secondary fabrics associated with prints, ensuring stock levels of raw fabrics and model launch dates.
  • Initiate lab-dip studies with suppliers for the development of secondary fabric colors for production.
  • Input trial cut, prototype, and dye purchase orders into the PLM system.
  • Track delivery dates and manage partial shipments to manufacturers.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a textile design school, IFM (development track), business school, or equivalent program.
  • Sensitivity to materials and women's ready-to-wear fashion.

Skills

Proficiency in Excel (tracking tables, pivot tables, VLOOKUP). Recognized for precision and attention to detail.

Experience

No prior professional experience is required, but relevant academic background is essential.

Education

Currently enrolled in a relevant academic program.
