Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist in operating sewing machines to produce high-quality garments.
  • Support the team in maintaining equipment and ensuring it is in optimal working condition.
  • Collaborate with designers and artisans to understand garment specifications and requirements.
  • Participate in quality control processes to ensure finished products meet brand standards.
  • Learn and apply various sewing techniques to enhance garment construction.

Qualifications

  • Enrollment in a relevant vocational training program or equivalent experience.
  • Basic understanding of sewing techniques and garment construction.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment.

Skills

Proficiency in operating sewing machinery. Attention to detail and precision in craftsmanship. Strong communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors. Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies.

Experience

Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory for this apprenticeship position.

Currently enrolled in or completed a vocational training program in fashion, textiles, or a related field.
