Join Gucci in London as a Local Merchandiser for Northern Europe. Support the Regional Merchandising strategy in a dynamic luxury fashion environment.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Monitor product and store performance alongside the Merchandising Manager through qualitative feedback to identify growth opportunities.
  • Conduct visits to both own and competitor stores, providing constructive feedback on aspects such as functionality, fitting, and sizing, as well as special events and competitor activities.
  • Perform detailed sales and stock reporting and analysis for specific categories, including style and store.
  • Analyze pre-buy qualitative feedback and client insights at the store level.
  • Collaborate with the Merchandising Manager during Buy Campaigns to customize assortments to individual store needs and identify new opportunities.
  • Support interactions with MarCom, Client Engagement, Training, VM, and Retail teams to promote products and maximize event potential.
  • Engage with VM and stores to propose actions that drive business, such as VM changes, stock support, and training.
  • Autonomously handle client requests in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • Proven and solid experience in a Buyer or Merchandiser role within the Fashion and Luxury industry with strong product knowledge.

Skills

Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint. Strong analytical capabilities and numeric aptitude. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous.

Experience

Substantial experience in a Buyer or Merchandiser role within the Fashion and Luxury industry is required.
