Role & Responsibilities

  • Conduct statistical processing of data from quantitative surveys collected via online, telephone, and other methods.
  • Perform data weighting and adjustments to ensure sample representativeness.
  • Execute descriptive and inferential statistical analyses, including cross-tabulations, variance analyses, and regressions.
  • Manage and clean databases to ensure data quality and reliability.
  • Utilize and master standard market software for data processing.
  • Develop and automate data processing scripts to enhance efficiency.
  • Adapt to new data processing tools and software as needed.
  • Prepare clear and concise result tables for reporting.
  • Assist study teams in interpreting results.
  • Collaborate closely with study managers and project leaders to understand and meet their data needs.
  • Provide technical support to teams on data processing issues.
  • Propose improvements to data processing and analysis methods.

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in statistics, econometrics, applied mathematics, or a related field (minimum Bachelor's degree).
  • Significant experience (minimum 5 years) in quantitative data processing, preferably in market research or opinion polling.

Skills

Strong knowledge of descriptive and inferential statistics. Ability to manipulate complex databases. Programming skills in VBA, Python, or R are advantageous. Attention to detail and analytical skills. Autonomy and organizational skills. Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork capability. Intellectual curiosity and a willingness to learn.

Experience

Minimum 5 years in quantitative data processing, preferably in market research or opinion polling.

Education

Bachelor's degree in statistics, econometrics, applied mathematics, or a related field.

The role is situated in Paris, Île-de-France, France.

Compensation

Compensation is commensurate with experience and profile.
