Join Givenchy in Paris as an Assistant Buyer Intern in Ready-To-Wear. Gain hands-on experience in luxury fashion with a globally renowned brand.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage material availability requests with suppliers.
- Verify prices, minimum quantities, lead times, and certifications for each material.
- Oversee purchasing and supply of fabrics for models, prototypes, and SMS.
- Organize the dispatch of materials to factories for model launches.
- Manage budget to ensure and maintain product margin.
- Create material codes and update information in the PLM system.
- Centralize fabric traceability information to comply with AGEC law and LVMH LIFE 360° program.
- Prepare physical supports such as fabric sheets and material samples.
- Create material archive folders for production.
- Prepare material samples for VIP, merchandising, and production teams.
Qualifications
- Dynamic, organized, and proactive.
- Strong interpersonal skills with both external and internal stakeholders.
Skills
Experience
No prior experience required; suitable for beginners.
Education
Degree from a business/engineering school or fashion school.
