Galeries Lafayette in Levallois-Perret, France, seeks a Logistics and Internal Flow Assistant Intern to join their Supply Chain team. Ideal for students specializing in Supply Chain or Internal Control.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Monitor and enhance the performance of transporters from preparation sites to delivery for both internal (B2B) and external (B2C, E-Commerce) clients.
  • Investigate and resolve delivery delays, ensuring timely problem resolution.
  • Manage disputes with transporters and oversee corresponding reimbursements.
  • Serve as a liaison with the customer service team (E-commerce) and operational teams (warehouse and stores).
  • Support the internal flow manager in creating and analyzing reports and dashboards.
  • Update the ERP system (Cegid) following transport events such as loss, theft, or delays.
  • Monitor and manage E-Commerce returns and refunds at the warehouse.
  • Ensure proper processing of e-orders by store and warehouse preparers.
  • Assist in the administrative management of intra-group merchandise flows, including monitoring indicators and alerts.
  • Contribute to the development of CSR initiatives (stock clearance, recycling).
  • Support the after-sales service team in managing administrative tasks related to workshop quotes (price updates and repair deadline follow-ups).

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a business school or university, pursuing a Master's degree (Bac +4/5) with a specialization in Supply Chain or Internal Control.

Skills

Strong administrative capabilities with attention to detail. Proficiency in technical software related to transport management, E-Commerce, after-sales service, or inventory management. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proficient in spreadsheet applications such as Excel.

Experience

No prior professional experience required, but relevant academic projects or internships in supply chain or logistics are advantageous.

Education

Pursuing a Master's degree in a relevant field.
