Role & Responsibilities

  • Define objectives and provide strategic direction for the positioning and performance of assigned categories, aligning with global brand strategy.
  • Develop product merchandising briefs in collaboration with design and product development teams to create impactful collections.
  • Oversee the collection design and development cycle, ensuring timely market entry, optimal margins, and strategic positioning.
  • Monitor the entire product development process, including planning, positioning, pricing, and performance analysis.
  • Collaborate with production, supply chain, and retail teams to ensure an efficient go-to-market strategy.
  • Work with communication teams to implement a coherent 360° marketing strategy for collections and product launches.
  • Contribute to category sales budget planning and monitor sales, margins, and stock targets, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Partner with markets and retail teams to enhance category performance, customer experience, and market share.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in product merchandising within the luxury industry.
  • Fluent in English and Italian.

Skills

Excellence in collection merchandising and data-driven decision-making. Strong knowledge of current market and consumer trends. High product sensitivity and passion for women's categories. Ability to interact with flexibility and diplomacy with stakeholders. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple development calendars. Broad understanding of the luxury landscape and target customer. Comfortable meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

Experience

A minimum of 10 years in product merchandising within the luxury industry is required.
