Fendi seeks a Department Manager in London to lead and develop the Ladies Ready To Wear department, ensuring excellence in sales, customer service, and team management.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the department's business by cultivating a comprehensive and strategic understanding of it and engaging with all relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor and achieve department performance using relevant KPIs.
- Analyze business performance and propose action plans to improve results.
- Set performance targets for the team and individuals in collaboration with the Store Manager.
- Be aware of competitors' trading activities and provide feedback to the Store Manager.
- Leverage clienteling tools to achieve department and store business goals.
- Deliver excellent customer service and implement clienteling activities.
- Manage customer service quality to meet customer expectations.
- Develop action plans to improve Mystery Shopper Results.
- Implement CRM tools and develop a loyal customer base for specific product categories.
- Act as a brand ambassador to educate VIP and new clients.
- Ensure merchandise is properly managed, displayed, stored, and maintained.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and manage shrink rates within company standards.
- Report stock issues to the Stock Planning and Merchandising team.
- Maintain visual merchandising consistent with company standards.
- Align visual merchandising with sales performance.
- Conduct monthly performance discussions and coach team members.
- Motivate the team to meet individual and store objectives.
- Organize the team efficiently according to business needs and delegate responsibilities.
- Translate strategic and business goals into concrete actions and objectives.
- Conduct category training for the team and execute in-store training routines.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience, including 5 years in a supervisory role in fashion/luxury sales with exposure to the relevant category.
- Master's degree or equivalent is preferred.
