Join the Fashion Group in Hong Kong as a Senior Accountant. This full-time role requires expertise in general ledger management and offers opportunities for growth in the luxury fashion industry.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and finalize accounting entries for the general ledger.
  • Collaborate with Accounting Officers to manage daily accounts payable and receivable tasks.
  • Close monthly financial books and prepare monthly trial balance reviews.
  • Conduct inventory reconciliation and maintain the fixed assets register.
  • Calculate and manage monthly rental expenses for each point of sale.
  • Draft monthly accruals for discussion with Business Planning for each brand.
  • Review and finalize bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly Group reporting using SyRUS.
  • Support the preparation of various tax reports and audited financial statements.
  • Participate in internal audits and control reviews.
  • Engage in projects such as system enhancements, new store openings, and business takeovers.
  • Perform other ad hoc tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Certified Public Accountant qualification.
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, preferably in the retail segment.

Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential. Excellent analytical and organizational skills. Strong communication skills. Ability to work and think independently. Fluency in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English with good written skills in English. Proficiency in Microsoft D365 is advantageous.

Experience

Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on general ledger management.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Certified Public Accountant qualification.
