Join LVMH Fashion Group in London as a Management Accountant. Seeking experienced professionals with strong reconciliation skills and retail industry experience.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Execute month-end entries including prepayments, accruals, and fixed assets.
  • Manage monthly closings and comprehensive reporting.
  • Post and reconcile IFRS16 leases.
  • Prepare monthly profit and loss accounts and conduct variance analysis.
  • Compile monthly balance sheets and liaise with consolidation teams in Paris.
  • Conduct thorough review and reconciliation of all balance sheet balances.
  • Input data into the consolidation and reporting package using the Group tool.
  • Perform reporting analyses including cash flow, debt, and corporation tax.
  • Coordinate year-end audits with external auditors.
  • Prepare VAT returns and bank reconciliations.
  • Reconcile and clear concessions accounts, cash, and credit card sales payments.
  • Provide operational support to stores and other head office departments.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects such as digitalisation of petty cash and stock take.

Qualifications

  • Qualified or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA/Equivalent certification.
  • Experience in accounts preparation and VAT and corporation tax.
  • Experience in the retail industry.

Skills

Strong reconciliation skills with keen attention to detail. Proficiency in UK GAAP and IFRS. Experience with JDE and SAP is desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proactive approach to challenges. Ability to meet deadlines. French language skills are advantageous.

Experience

A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required.

Education

Qualified or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA/Equivalent certification.
