Join LVMH Fashion Group in Tokyo as a Finance & Accounting Manager. This temporary full-time role requires 5+ years of experience in accounting within a foreign retail company.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee the finance and accounting department, managing 7 individual maisons and 1 back-office division.
  • Plan, organize, and control the Accounts Receivable function.
  • Establish and maintain internal controls in compliance with group regulations.
  • Drive operational improvements for process optimization.
  • Manage the Order to Cash process, leading a team of 4 in the AR department.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead or contribute to projects related to responsible processes.
  • Ensure compliance with internal control procedures and implement new controls as necessary.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Finance and Accounting, Economics, or Business preferred.
  • Nissho Bookkeeping 2nd grade or equivalent; US CPA preferred.

Skills

Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems. Fluency in Japanese and English. Strong analytical and synthetic skills. Excellent team orientation and communication abilities. Proactive and hands-on approach. Effective stress and time management.

Experience

A minimum of 5 years in accounting within a foreign retail company, with a focus on Accounts Receivable and General Ledger. Experience in team and project management is required.

Education

University degree in Finance and Accounting, Economics, or Business preferred.

Workplace

The successful candidate will be located in Tokyo, Tôkyô, Japan.
