Role & Responsibilities

  • Participate in a comprehensive four-year apprenticeship program in watchmaking.
  • Assist in the assembly and maintenance of precision timepieces.
  • Learn and apply traditional and modern watchmaking techniques.
  • Collaborate with experienced watchmakers to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with industry trends and technologies.

Qualifications

  • Enrollment in or completion of secondary education.
  • Interest in precision craftsmanship and horology.

Skills

Keen attention to detail. Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Ability to follow technical instructions. Eagerness to learn and adapt.

Experience

No prior experience required, as this is an apprenticeship position designed for entry into the field of watchmaking.

Education

Secondary education enrollment or completion.

This position is based in Grenchen, Solothurn, Switzerland, within easy reach of Bern.
