Join ETA SA in Grenchen, Switzerland, as a Watchmaker Apprentice. This four-year apprenticeship offers comprehensive training in the art of watchmaking within a leading Swiss company.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Engage in comprehensive training to master the art of watchmaking over a four-year apprenticeship.
  • Assist in the assembly and maintenance of watch movements under the guidance of experienced professionals.
  • Participate in quality control processes to ensure the highest standards of craftsmanship.
  • Contribute to the innovation and development of new horological techniques and designs.
  • Maintain meticulous records of work processes and outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Completion of compulsory education with strong academic performance.
  • Demonstrated interest in mechanics and precision work.
  • Basic understanding of mathematical and scientific principles.

Skills

Keen attention to detail and precision. Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Proficiency in problem-solving and critical thinking. Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies.

Experience

No prior experience required, but a passion for watchmaking and craftsmanship is essential.

Education

Completion of compulsory education.
