ETA SA in Grenchen, Switzerland, seeks a Watchmaker Apprentice for a 3-year program starting in 2025. Join the Swatch Group's innovative team to learn and excel in watchmaking.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Assemble mechanical and electronic watch movements and chronographs.
  • Inspect and adjust the precision and functionality of watch components.
  • Identify aesthetic defects, functional issues, and malfunctions during production stages.
  • Install hands and dials, and secure movements within watch cases.
  • Conduct functional tests on completed watches using various testing and measurement methods.
  • Fabricate simple tools and equipment necessary for assembling watch movements or cases.
  • Contribute to both industrial production and modern customer service operations.

Qualifications

  • Completion of middle or high-level primary education.

Skills

Strong spatial imagination. Interest in complex technical tasks. Willingness to take responsibility. Flexibility in working hours. Good communication skills. Patience and concentration.

Experience

No prior experience required, suitable for entry-level candidates.

Education
