Coach in New York (Hudson Yards) seeks a part-time Sales Associate to deliver luxury client service, drive omni-channel sales and support store operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as a front-line ambassador of the Coach brand, consistently applying the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards.
  • Deliver elevated, personalized shopping experiences through styling advice, product knowledge and tailored recommendations to build lasting client relationships.
  • Drive sales performance through cross-selling, upselling, social selling and execution of personal sales plans to meet individual and store KPIs.
  • Use mobile POS, clienteling tools and social platforms (including short-form video) to capture client data, execute transactions and encourage repeat purchases.
  • Support omni-channel operations: process purchases, returns, exchanges, and online order pickups efficiently.
  • Execute daily store operations including cash wrap, inventory receiving and processing, replenishment and visual merchandising.
  • Maintain a high-energy sales floor; manage multiple customers and adapt selling techniques to changing business needs.
  • Support inventory cycles and stockroom organization; follow asset protection, POS and retail policies.
  • Participate in brand initiatives, trainings and inclusion activities; welcome feedback and demonstrate professional, composed behavior.
  • Collaborate with teammates across functional areas and foster a trust-based environment that encourages team performance.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year sales experience; luxury retail experience preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs in a retail environment.
  • Comfortable working a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
  • Ability to lift regularly 25 lbs (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel and maneuver across sales floor and stockroom.
  • Strong English language proficiency required.

Experience

At least 1 year of retail or sales experience; prior luxury retail, omni-channel selling and clienteling experience is preferred.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or tertiary education in retail, fashion or related fields preferred but not required.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 24.25 per hour.
