Join Christian Dior Couture in Paris as a Senior Merchandiser for Women's Footwear. This full-time role requires 5-7 years of experience in luxury fashion merchandising.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and update sales forecasts in collaboration with the Sales Planning team.
- Coordinate with the Supply Chain to ensure timely delivery of seasonal products and maintain stock availability of permanent items.
- Propose tactical and permanent restocking strategies.
- Define the product range for biannual sales.
- Participate in the construction of the Open-to-Buy (OTB) in collaboration with Business Planning teams.
- Update the permanent catalog with each collection launch and assess distribution network efficiency.
- Develop purchasing strategies and assortment recommendations for different store types.
- Update purchasing tools and store segmentation.
- Partner with regional teams during showroom purchases.
- Prepare pre-brief and debrief meetings for top management.
- Monitor currency fluctuations and strategic product pricing to ensure competitive positioning.
Qualifications
- Degree from a Business School in Commerce, Marketing, or Management.
- 5-7 years of prior experience in a Buyer/Merchandiser role within the Luxury/Fashion/Ready-to-Wear sector.
- Strong retail knowledge, numerical acumen, and analytical sensitivity.
- Passion for fashion with a keen awareness of current trends.
Skills
Experience
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the luxury fashion industry is required.
Education
Degree in Commerce, Marketing, or Management from a recognized institution.
