Christian Dior Couture in Paris is seeking a Retail Merchandising Manager for Women's Footwear. This full-time role requires 10 years of experience and fluency in French and English.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee the performance management of the women's footwear category, focusing on growth objectives and sell-through rates.
- Act as a liaison between the Business Unit and regional teams, effectively communicating global strategies and gathering market-specific insights.
- Coordinate collection schedules in alignment with cross-category themes and animations, ensuring seamless collaboration with Supply teams.
- Facilitate interactions with the Product Marketing team for the same category.
- Contribute to collection briefs by analyzing current season sales, conducting competitive pricing analysis, and synthesizing regional needs.
- Monitor key business indicators and implement tailored action plans with regional teams.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Product Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Retail, and E-commerce teams to optimize product launches.
- Manage boutique openings and optimize assortments based on deliveries.
- Propose opportunistic and permanent restocks.
- Ensure price positioning balance in various currencies, monitoring currency fluctuations and strategic product pricing.
- Define assortment and cluster strategies, constructing purchase strategies by cluster and region for each collection.
- Organize and manage showrooms, estimate total volumes per line, assist in central pre-purchases, and update purchasing tools and boutique segmentation.
- Participate in building and monitoring the Open-to-Buy (OTB) process in collaboration with Product Marketing, Retail, Digital, and Supply Chain.
- Lead meetings with regional buyers, adjusting balances between lines, OTB compliance, assortments, and market-specific strategies.
- Validate quantities per reference by region and define the permanent offer.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Merchandising, Luxury and Fashion Management/Marketing, Retail, or Wholesale.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in retail merchandising or buying roles.
- Experience in team management.
