Join Christian Dior in Tokyo as a Merchandising Assistant Manager for Women's Shoes and Baby's. Enhance brand image and maximize sales in a dynamic luxury fashion environment.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the merchandising strategy for Women's Shoes and Baby's categories.
  • Conduct seasonal buying for retail stores, including travel to Paris for buying sessions and remote work for Baby's category.
  • Select permanent assortments in collaboration with headquarters based on market analysis.
  • Provide qualitative business feedback to headquarters.
  • Deliver weekly and monthly performance analyses and implement action plans.
  • Manage inventory and sell-through with regular stock rebalancing and sales initiatives.
  • Create and execute creative plans to optimize stock and boost sales.
  • Analyze competition and market trends to provide product and pricing feedback to headquarters.
  • Conduct collection presentations and training for internal staff.
  • Support events as a team representative.
  • Maintain frequent communication with stores and conduct regular visits.

Qualifications

  • More than 3 years of merchandising experience, preferably in luxury brands.
  • Fluency in English and Japanese, both written and spoken.

Skills

Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Excellent analytical and presentation abilities. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills. Customer-oriented mindset. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Passion for fashion and a keen eye for trends.

Experience

Minimum of 3 years in merchandising, with experience in luxury brands preferred.
