Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure impeccable service under the direction of the Sous-Chef, adhering to restaurant procedures.
- Supervise team performance to deliver high-quality and aesthetically pleasing presentations.
- Contribute innovative ideas for menu creations across various dining outlets.
- Oversee the execution of cooking and preparation according to technical sheets and restaurant procedures.
- Maintain the freshness and quality of ingredients.
- Manage perishable goods in line with restaurant protocols.
- Assist in the production of desserts, pastries, and viennoiseries.
- Ensure high-quality, aesthetically presented dishes that enhance the dining experience while optimizing costs.
- Assemble and plate dishes with precision.
- Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of facilities and equipment in compliance with HACCP standards.
- Receive and store goods according to HACCP protocols and company procedures.
- Organize and store perishables in cold storage or pantry areas.
- Report any safety or accident risks to management.
- Organize, assign, and coordinate kitchen and dishwashing activities under supervision.
- Ensure culinary production adheres to current standards.
- Lead and motivate team members effectively.
- Welcome and train new employees.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Junior Sous-Chef or Sous-Chef in a luxury establishment.
- Experience in team management.
