Christian Dior Couture seeks a Deputy Department Manager for its Sloane Street Boutique in London, UK. This full-time role requires luxury fashion experience and leadership skills.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead by example, mentoring and training the team to enhance their sales and service techniques.
- Support the development and implementation of a local client development strategy.
- Foster internal relationships to facilitate cross-selling across product categories.
- Cultivate client loyalty by building relationships with VVIC and Elite clients.
- Monitor and enhance sales performance within the department.
- Efficiently address and resolve customer complaints.
- Contribute to achieving the department's commercial objectives while adhering to company policies.
- Develop relationships with Head Office to provide feedback on clientele and product performance.
- Assist in stock ordering and management as needed.
- Lead and organize the store team, delegating daily tasks.
- Support recruitment, evaluation, motivation, and development of the team.
- Minimize stock losses and store operating expenses.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and display within the department.
- Ensure familiarity with selling systems, cash, credit, and exchange procedures.
- Maximize security and prevent product theft.
- Ensure compliance with company administration systems and procedures to minimize losses.
- Perform additional duties as directed by Line Manager or Head Office.
- Represent Christian Dior as an ambassador at events when necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous experience at Supervisor or Deputy Department Manager level within luxury fashion.
- Proven ability to lead an experienced and capable team.
- An existing client book (preferred).
- Fluency in a second language (preferred).
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within luxury fashion.

This position is based in London, England, UK.
