Join Christian Dior Couture in London as a Department Deputy Manager for Accessories at Selfridges. Lead the team in a luxury retail environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage the department’s sales performance and service excellence.
- Optimize space and stock utilization to maximize sales and minimize resource wastage.
- Ensure effective merchandise display using promotional materials to meet current demand.
- Lead by example in client recruitment and development of client loyalty through CRM initiatives.
- Achieve boutique capture rate and mystery shopping results.
- Maintain awareness of competitor activity and communicate insights to the team.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of back-office functions and boutique analysis, including CRM, client recruitment, P&L, store activities, stock control, reports, and VM rules.
- Ensure the boutique maintains the correct basic stock levels.
- Provide effective feedback to ensure popular selling lines are replenished promptly.
- Control stock loss within store budget and implement stock audits.
- Ensure adherence to company administration systems and procedures to minimize losses.
- Adhere to company security procedures related to theft and pilferage.
- Report all suspected shoplifters to Loss Prevention.
- Train staff in company systems on cash handling, credit authorization, and loss reporting.
- Participate in the recruitment, training, evaluation, motivation, and development of staff.
- Oversee and manage employee performance appraisals and identify potential for advancement.
- Communicate effectively to develop a stable team and succession plan.
- Conduct morning briefings and motivate the team to achieve targets.
- Network with Dior management to share best practices.
- Ensure adherence to Health and Safety policies and procedures within the concession.
Qualifications
- Previous management experience in retail, ideally within the luxury sector.
- Strong expertise in menswear.
Skills
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a managerial role within the retail sector, preferably in luxury fashion.
