Join Christian Dior Couture in Paris as an Assistant Merchandiser for Jewellery & Timepieces. This entry-level position offers a unique opportunity to work within a prestigious luxury brand, focusing on merchandising and retail operations across Europe.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Conduct weekly and monthly performance analyses by product line, region, store, and collection, with a focus on best-sellers and recent launches.
  • Perform competitive studies, especially for High End events.
  • Provide daily support to regions and stores, including stock requests, product information, and sales tools.
  • Assist in managing new product launches, including product information, assortment summaries, and stock delivery verification.
  • Coordinate 'Caravan' assortments for boutique events, including tracking transfers, sales, and replenishment.
  • Support store openings, both permanent and temporary, by creating specific assortments and coordinating logistics.
  • Provide operational support during client or team events, such as seminars.
  • Assist in stock rebalancing and buybacks to implement product assortment guidelines.
  • Develop and provide various sales support tools, including product books and assortment summaries.
  • Support the preparation of the Monthly Ambassadors Call, focusing on business results and priorities.
  • Assist in preparing pieces for client presentations, including documentation, transport booking, and logistics.
  • Monitor logistics flows and communications with transporters in the European zone.

Qualifications

  • Final-year internship or gap year, ideally with prior experience in merchandising.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field (BAC +5).

Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint). Strong analytical tools proficiency. Fluency in French and English. Knowledge of the luxury industry, with a focus on Jewellery and Timepieces being advantageous. Analytical, rigorous, and organized mindset. Numerical proficiency. Excellent interpersonal skills and customer relationship understanding. Curiosity and product sensitivity. Commercial acumen and negotiation skills. Dynamic and proactive attitude.

Experience

Entry-level position suitable for beginners, ideally with a first internship in merchandising.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business or related field (BAC +5).
