Role & Responsibilities

  • Learn the structure and functionality of various types of watches, including pendulum clocks, quartz watches, and chronographs.
  • Conduct practical exercises on specific components such as gear trains.
  • Acquire foundational knowledge in metalworking and materials science.
  • Manufacture high-precision small tools and assemble watch components from precious metals into finished timepieces.
  • Engage in the daily operations of the European service center, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical and electronic watches.
  • Disassemble watches to diagnose and repair faults, then reassemble and adjust them.

Qualifications

  • Successful completion of secondary education, at least a Hauptschulabschluss.

Skills

Manual dexterity and technical understanding. Spatial visualization skills. Passion for technology and innovative solutions. Patience, attention to detail, and precision. Commitment to quality and responsible work practices.

Experience

No prior experience required; this is an entry-level apprenticeship position.

Education

Completion of secondary education (Hauptschulabschluss or equivalent).

The successful candidate will be located in Birkenfeld, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, with easy access to Stuttgart.
