Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement trade marketing strategies across the Benelux region, focusing on both traditional retail and e-wholesale channels.
  • Ensure flawless execution of all trade marketing activities, including in-store promotions, point-of-sale materials, and digital initiatives.
  • Create differentiated retailer brand strategies using sell-out analysis and shopper insights.
  • Design and implement channel-specific initiatives for e-wholesalers, including digital promotional materials and joint marketing campaigns.
  • Regularly visit key locations to audit, monitor, and support field execution, ensuring adherence to brand standards.
  • Manage the trade marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across channels.
  • Build strong relationships with key retail partners and distributors, coordinating joint marketing activities.
  • Collaborate with sales, product management, supply, and digital teams to ensure alignment across marketing initiatives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and shopper insights to inform strategy.

Qualifications

  • Higher education qualification.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a Trade Marketing Manager or similar role.

Skills

Strong organizational and project management skills. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Ability to synthesize business and market intelligence. Proficiency in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is advantageous.

Experience

Minimum of 3 years in a related position, preferably within the luxury or fragrance and beauty market, with experience in e-commerce being advantageous.

Education

Higher education qualification required.
