Join Chanel in La Chaux-de-Fonds as a Transport and Customs Specialist. Part-time role in a dynamic luxury environment, focusing on logistics and customs.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage transportation requests for international markets, supplier interactions, and international event transfers.
  • Verify export/import documentation such as proforma invoices, packing lists, and more.
  • Communicate customs instructions, including PA/PP/AT regimes.
  • Develop and manage relationships with freight forwarders.
  • Control customs tariffs for various product types.
  • Supervise customs deadlines and resolve customs disputes, establishing and following up on action plans.
  • Control and validate transportation-related invoices.
  • Participate in project management, including implementing a TMS, regulatory monitoring, and deploying new freight forwarders.
  • Formalize and update processes related to logistics activities.
  • Provide support and guidance to internal services on transport and customs matters.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree, ideally with a specialization in logistics or international trade.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in international trade.

Skills

Proficiency in English and MS Office Suite. Digital tool proficiency. Customer service orientation and solution-focused. Proactive, innovative, and methodical. Strong priority management and teamwork skills. Versatility and problem-solving abilities.

Experience

A minimum of 3 years in international trade, with a focus on logistics and customs.

Education

Master's degree in logistics or international trade.
