Chanel is seeking a Senior Manager of Skincare Education in New York City. This full-time role involves leading skincare education initiatives and collaborating with various teams to drive business strategies.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement local and global skincare education programs and initiatives.
  • Lead and mentor National Skincare Experts, establishing protocols aligned with the global skincare vision.
  • Collaborate with Field Sales Leadership, Account Development, and Marketing teams to drive skincare business initiatives.
  • Consult with senior leadership on education and development strategies to enhance CHANEL services at the point of sale.
  • Partner with the Skincare Marketing team to translate marketing strategies into effective selling approaches.
  • Execute the Skincare Experts program to reinforce CHANEL’s authority in skincare and deliver exceptional client experiences.
  • Create and maintain educational materials, including product knowledge and brand history, for Beauty Advisors.
  • Conduct train-the-trainer workshops for Education Executives and Field Team members.
  • Engage with retail partners to assess learning needs and design appropriate educational solutions.
  • Forecast product needs to support educational programs and ensure compliance with legal guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in Learning & Development.
  • 3+ years of esthetics experience.
  • Minimum 5+ years of retail/field sales or relevant experience.
  • Experience in instructional design for beauty skill building preferred.

Skills

Leadership and people development. Collaboration and teamwork. Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft 365, especially PowerPoint. Understanding of adult learning principles.

Experience

Minimum of 5 years in Learning & Development, with additional experience in esthetics and retail/field sales.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

This position is based in New York, New York, USA.

Compensation

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $87,500 through $130,000. Additional compensation includes benefits and perks.
