Role & Responsibilities

  • Ensure regulatory compliance of products for international markets, focusing on customer satisfaction and regulatory requirements.
  • Translate market needs from regions such as Vietnam, South Korea, Japan, and the Gulf countries to communicate effectively with Product Quality teams.
  • Oversee the selection of models, materials, and colors for testing to meet regulatory standards.
  • Manage the collection and dispatch of regulatory samples for local chemical testing, adhering to collection timelines.
  • Handle non-conformities by liaising between market contacts and Product Quality teams, contributing to continuous material improvement.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain teams to manage processes in line with collection and delivery milestones.
  • Present market compliance reports to Product Quality teams.
  • Maintain knowledge of market-specific regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and propose improvements for activity KPIs.
  • Adapt processes to accommodate new developments.

Qualifications

  • Degree in textile, leather, or chemical engineering.
  • Experience in fashion, accessories, textile, or leather industries within quality, product compliance, or regulatory affairs departments.

Skills

Knowledge of international regulatory texts such as REACh, China GB Standards, Korea KATS, US CPSC 16CFR 10, California Proposition 65, EU Regulation 1007/2011. Proficiency in basic IT tools (Excel, PowerPoint) and ideally PLM software. Fluency in English and French; Italian is a plus. Strong organizational and anticipatory skills. Ability to foster strong interpersonal relationships.

Experience

Previous experience in the fashion and accessories industry, specifically in quality, product compliance, or regulatory affairs.

Education

Degree in textile, leather, or chemical engineering.
