Chanel — Paris: Power BI & HR Data Intern (Jewellery & Watches). Support HR analytics, dashboarding and reporting for the jewellery and watch division.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and visualise HR dashboards and reports for the Jewellery & Watches division using Power BI.
- Consolidate, cleanse and transform HR datasets to ensure accuracy and consistency for reporting and analysis.
- Design and implement DAX measures, Power Query transformations and data models to support operational and strategic HR metrics.
- Deliver ad-hoc analyses and workforce reports to HR Business Partners and management, translating business questions into data-driven answers.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance and IT stakeholders to improve data flows, reporting automation and documentation of metrics.
- Support data governance activities: perform quality checks, document assumptions and maintain a single source of truth for key HR indicators.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a university programme (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Data Science, Statistics, HR Analytics, Economics, Business Analytics or a related discipline.
- Demonstrable analytical thinking and strong numerical aptitude with attention to data integrity.
- Rigorous approach to documentation, version control and reproducible reporting.
- Professional maturity, discretion and the ability to interact with senior HR and business stakeholders.
Skills
Experience
Previous internships or project experience in HR analytics, people data, BI reporting or management reporting is advantageous; prior exposure to dashboard design and data modelling preferred.
Education
Current enrolment in a Bachelor's or Master's programme in Data Science, Statistics, Human Resources with analytics focus, Business Analytics, Economics or a related field.
