Join Chanel in Paris as a Financial and Budget Management Specialist. This full-time role involves overseeing financial operations within the real estate sector, requiring 5 years of experience and an advanced degree in finance or accounting.
Role & Responsibilities
- Coordinate the financial oversight of real estate projects, including asset management and expense tracking.
- Collaborate with the Real Estate and Employee Experience Directorate to develop annual and multi-year budgets.
- Prepare financial forecasts and analyze variances between actuals and budgets, providing insights and recommendations.
- Regularly report to the financial controller.
- Manage CAPEX and fixed assets, liaising with financial teams for project operations.
- Maintain communication with internal teams such as accounting and treasury.
- Oversee expenditure commitments related to CAPEX in coordination with fixed asset accounting.
- Handle the issuance and reception of service commissioning minutes.
- Update and manage the fixed asset database for buildings within the scope.
- Organize annual reviews in collaboration with fixed asset accounting and project managers.
- Manage daily orders, including entry and tracking within the Coupa system.
- Monitor expenditure commitments and receipts.
- Process and track invoicing, including the registration of new service providers in Coupa.
- Prepare monthly expenditure commitments and cash forecasts.
- Coordinate annual and quarterly account closures with accounting and financial teams.
- Lead a team comprising an administrative manager and an intern.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in management, finance, accounting, or equivalent.
- Significant experience (5 years) in budgetary and financial management, and team leadership, preferably in the real estate sector.

A minimum of 5 years in budgetary and financial management, with team leadership experience, ideally within the real estate sector.
Education
Advanced degree in management, finance, accounting, or equivalent.
