Chanel is seeking a Financial Accounting and Reporting Manager in Ho Chi Minh City to lead financial operations and ensure compliance with local and global standards.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial statements and maintain the quality of local financial books.
  • Oversee compliance with local, regional, and global financial regulations and submissions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local accounting and tax regulations to ensure statutory compliance.
  • Manage accounting and financial control activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledgers.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants to meet statutory requirements.
  • Foster a collaborative team dynamic within the local finance team and with stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency in accounting processes.
  • Serve as the main contact for local tax matters and coordinate with tax authorities and consultants.
  • Act as the primary liaison with banks and merchants for operational support.
  • Lead and manage the local Finance Business Services team and drive financial health projects.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Professional qualification such as CPA, CA, or equivalent.

Skills

Strong business acumen and understanding of ERP systems. Fluency in English. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong interpersonal effectiveness and customer service orientation.

Experience

Minimum of 12 years of experience in accounting operations and corporate finance, including 5 years in a managerial role. Experience with Big 4 audit firms is advantageous.

Education

University degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

The successful candidate will be located in Ho Chi Minh City, Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.
