Chanel — Paris: Digital Merchandising Intern (Fashion) — July 2026 internship supporting online product presentation and e‑commerce operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the digital merchandising team in the preparation, enrichment and maintenance of product pages for fashion and accessories across the brand’s e‑commerce site.
- Ensure accuracy of product data: descriptions, attributes, imagery, pricing and stock information; perform quality assurance checks pre‑publish.
- Coordinate with buying, visual merchandising and content teams to align online assortments, launches and storytelling.
- Produce regular performance reporting on sales, conversion and onsite merchandising KPIs to inform optimisation decisions.
- Assist in execution and monitoring of visual merchandising campaigns and A/B tests; implement learnings and document results.
- Contribute to category project workstreams, timelines and task tracking to support seasonal launches.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme in fashion, retail, marketing, e‑commerce, business or a related discipline.
- Strong interest in luxury fashion and digital retail; commercial mindset with attention to merchandising detail.
- Analytical aptitude with the ability to interpret basic e‑commerce metrics and produce concise reports.
- Organised, methodical approach to data entry and quality control; ability to manage multiple priorities to tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative team‑oriented manner.
Skills
Experience
Prior internship or work experience (internship of 3–12 months preferred) in e‑commerce, digital merchandising, retail buying or category management is advantageous but not mandatory for this internship.
Education
Enrolment in a relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s programme (fashion, marketing, e‑commerce, business or equivalent).
