Join Cartier in La Chaux-de-Fonds as a Polishing Industrialization Specialist. This role involves defining and optimizing polishing processes, ensuring quality and efficiency in production.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define manufacturing processes for polishing-related development projects, ensuring the establishment and maintenance of standards.
- Participate in the definition of production tooling.
- Estimate operational times, ensuring process performance in terms of cost, quality, and deadlines.
- Manage the functionality and robustness of defined processes during pre-series production.
- Create and maintain process-related documentation, including work instructions and operating procedures.
- Optimize products, processes, and equipment for continuous improvement.
- Provide technical support to production teams.
- Coordinate between various departments, including studies and methods, and production.
- Monitor process evolution and contribute to product capitalization.
- Lead continuous improvement projects.
Qualifications
- Possession of a CFC in Watchmaking Finishing or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the polishing profession.
Skills
Experience
A minimum of 5 years of experience in polishing within the watchmaking industry is required.
Education
CFC in Watchmaking Finishing or an equivalent qualification.
Workplace
The role is situated in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Neuchâtel, Switzerland.
