Cartier is hiring a Polisher/Setter in Villars-sur-Glâne, Switzerland for a 24-month fixed-term position. Join a leading luxury brand within a dynamic and inclusive work environment.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Perform polishing of precious components, both set and unset, adhering to operational guidelines using available equipment, machines, and tools.
  • Ensure compliance of set, polished, or satin-finished components through dimensional and aesthetic control operations.
  • Conduct 'reboulage' of Grain Settings.
  • Refurbish Closed and Semi-Closed Settings.
  • Master the unsetting and resetting of black or damaged diamonds.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the work environment.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in polishing precious watch components.
  • Experience in Grain, Pave, and Closed Setting techniques.

Skills

Versatile and attentive to detail. Strong sense of quality and performance motivation. Open-minded, autonomous, and capable of working in a team of approximately 40 people. Proficient with digital tools and comfortable using computer applications.

Experience

Confirmed experience in polishing and setting within the luxury watchmaking industry.

Workplace

The successful candidate will be located in Villars-sur-Glâne, Fribourg, Switzerland, with easy access to Fribourg.
