Role & Responsibilities
- Define manufacturing processes for machining-related development projects, ensuring the establishment and maintenance of standards.
- Participate in the definition of production tooling.
- Estimate operational times, ensuring process performance in terms of cost, quality, and timing.
- Ensure the proper functioning and robustness of defined processes during pre-series production.
- Create documentation related to processes, including work instructions and operating modes.
- Manage product, process, and equipment optimization.
- Provide technical support to production.
- Coordinate between various departments such as studies and methods, and production.
- Monitor process evolution and contribute to product capitalization.
- Lead continuous improvement projects.
- Participate in drafting machine specifications.
- Conduct benchmarking and oversee testing.
- Perform pre-acceptance of machines and validate machines upon delivery and production launch.
Qualifications
- Possession of a CFC in micro-mechanics or equivalent training.
- Several years of successful experience in machining.
- Proficiency in CREO/FAO and programming.
- Knowledge of Windchill (PLM) is an advantage.
