Join Burberry in Florence as a Metal Hardware Technical Developer. Oversee metal hardware development for luxury leather goods, ensuring quality and innovation.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to design and product development teams, understanding creative needs and interpreting metal hardware designs.
- Manage the development phase to define requirements and ensure the feasibility and quality of new metal hardware.
- Collaborate with suppliers to formalize requirements and analyze technical risks, proposing mitigation measures.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to monitor performance and meet material development targets.
- Negotiate costs of metal hardware using technical specifications.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and performance standards.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in metal hardware development or a similar role.
- Degree in Materials Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Fluency in Italian and English.
Skills
Experience
Proven track record in metal hardware development, preferably within the high fashion or luxury brand sectors.
Education
Degree in Materials Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
