Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the design team in understanding and refining the vision and concept for the Ready-To-Wear Tailoring & Outerwear Collection.
  • Assist in coordinating with suppliers regarding prototypes, following the guidance of the Head of Tailoring and Outerwear Product Development.
  • Collaborate with pattern makers, sample sewers, and other professionals to refine prototypes and ensure alignment with design expectations.
  • Organize and participate in fitting sessions, assisting in the evaluation of garment fit and aesthetics.
  • Ensure final samples are produced according to design specifications and within the Collection Calendar deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of design specifications, patterns, samples, and production details.
  • Assist in creating and managing the Bill of Materials (BOM) to support production accuracy and improve material sourcing and ordering.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Product Development, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in product development, preferably in tailoring or outerwear.

Skills

Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and trims. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other design software. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong attention to detail, creative thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Effective teamwork and cross-departmental communication skills. Passion for fashion and a keen interest in tailoring and outerwear trends.

Experience

1-2 years of experience in product development, preferably in tailoring or outerwear.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Product Development, or a related field.

The role is situated in Milan, Lombardy, Italy.
