Role & Responsibilities

  • Ensure accuracy of merchandise and supply deliveries, verifying quantities shipped and received against documentation for all shipments.
  • Support management and sales staff with accurate stock checks and prompt delivery to the sales floor.
  • Maintain stock room standards by organizing merchandise by style, color, and size as directed by management.
  • Conduct routine cycle counts and report inventory discrepancies to management.
  • Organize the shipping area and ensure outgoing merchandise is properly packaged and logged according to policies.
  • Maximize stock space for efficient access and store functionality.
  • Communicate with management and sales team regarding new arrivals, product replenishment, and client returns.
  • Replenish packaging supplies within the boutique.
  • Assist in training new hires on shipping and receiving policies and procedures.
  • Complete tasks and projects as assigned by Store Management.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in a complex retail stock room, experience with international/domestic freight companies preferred.

Skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities with attention to detail. Excellent organizational skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivated and professional team player. High level of accountability and reliability. Basic computer skills, Excel preferred. Physical ability to stand for extended periods, climb ladders, and lift packages up to 20 lbs.

Experience

1-2 years of experience in a complex retail stock room, with experience in handling international/domestic freight companies being advantageous.

Workplace

This position is based in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA.

Compensation

Salary range of $19-21/hr, plus overtime.
